June 12, 2025 – A craft brewer is proposing a tasting room and small brewery on Front Street.

Brett McCormack, the owner of the Menagerie Beer Company, came before the Town Board on Tuesday to request changes to the Town’s zoning language to allow the venture at 1735 Front Street. McCormack’s business partner Tim Czarnetzki is the co-founder of Foreign Objects Beer Company in Monroe and the Urban Family Brewing Company in Seattle.

McCormack told the Town Board that the proposed small brewery would mostly sell its product in-house, with some outside sales to local restaurants or stores. The operating days would be Thursday through Sunday.

The proposed location is zoned for light industrial use. There is a catering hall in the same complex and a health club formerly operated in the space McCormack seeks to occupy.

The Town Board took no action on the request. The Town’s staff will work on amending zoning language and a public hearing will be scheduled.
