Yorktown Grange Fair Celebrates Centennial Anniversary Sept 6-8

Yorktown Grange #862 is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Grange Fair. The fair has been bringing our community together since 1924, joyfully saluting the contributions of local farmers and artisans.

The 2024 fair will take place September 6th, 7th, and 8th at the Yorktown Grange Fairgrounds. Once again this year you'll enjoy amazing livestock exhibits, sensational art shows, thrilling rides, delicious food, live music, and an atmosphere of fun and friendship.

Hart Library Hamilton Trivia Night

Trivia Nights at the Hart Library are back! Join us for Hamilton trivia on Friday, September 13 at 6pm! Professional trivia hosts from Trivia A.D. will be here to test your knowledge with themed questions. Free and open to the public, adults only. Registration required. Click for link.

Yorktown San Gennaro Feast September 18-22

The San Gennaro Feast in Yorktown, New York is an iconic Italian Heritage Festival. This amazing 5 night street festival brings traditional Italian cuisine and other delicious foods, amusement rides, games and live entertainment. The feast will kick off with a ceremonial procession of San Gennaro, the Patron Saint of Naples. Bring your family and friends and enjoy!

* Procession on Wednesday begins at 6:30pm

5K Run for Recovery

Join Search for Change, The Alliance for Safe Kids (ASK), Drug Crisis in our Backyard and Run 4 Recovery for the 10th Annual Run for Recovery 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 28th at 9 AM in FDR Park.

Participating in our Run for Recovery 5K run/walk is a powerful way to raise awareness and celebrate recovery from substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Each step symbolizes hope and resilience, honoring those who have overcome challenges. The event unites individuals, breaks stigma, and empowers others to seek help. Crossing the finish line gives a feeling of accomplishment, knowing you have made a difference. Recovery is possible, and together, we can inspire change.
