Elected leaders, emergency responders and county officials convened Monday night at Cortlandt Town Hall for a joint roundtable on the future of emergency medical services, wrestling with how to stabilize a system increasingly strained by rising costs, dwindling volunteers and flat state support.

The Town of Yorktown will host a talk by Holocaust survivor and author Joseph Gosler on April 16 at 6:00PM for its annual Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony.   

History will march back to life on May 2nd, when the community will gather in Yorktown Heights to commemorate The Battle of Pines Bridge, a brief, bloody clash that represented a loss for Continental forces.
