2026 Tentative Budget
The Supervisor of the Town of Yorktown, as Chief Executive and Chief Fiscal Officer, under New York State Town Law section 106, prepares a Tentative Budget, under the modified accrual basis, to be submitted to the Town Board and public for its review and comment by October 30th of each fiscal year. In creating the tentative budget, the Supervisor will have requested and received from each department of the Town government estimates of the costs and revenues associated with its operations.
The Town Board will meet with various department heads on November 6 & 7, 2025 to discuss the tentative budget. The Board will adopt a Preliminary budget on or about November 18, 2025 for general public comment on December 2, 2025 at a public hearing.
