On June 12, 2020, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed Executive Order 203, which requires all local governements with a police agency to perform a comprehensive review of current police force deployments, strategies, policies, procedures, and practices. The Executive Order also requires a plan to be developed to improve any deficiencies or shortfalls that may be identified. Yorktown is required to transmit a report and a signed certification form to the Director of the Division of Budget by April 1, 2021.
