PROJECTS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

BRIDGE REHAB: TACONIC STATE PARKWAY, ROUTES 52 & 304 - ORANGE, ROCKLAND, WESTCHESTER COUNTIES

This project will undertake corrective and preventative maintenance actions to extend the service life of 3 bridges on state highways including Illington Road over the Taconic State Parkway (987G) in the Town of Yorktown in Westchester County. The estimated completion date for this project is June 2026. The construction of this project is currently on time.

CULVERT REHAB/REPLACEMENTS: PUTNAM AND WESTCHESTER COUNTIES

October 15, 2025 This project will rehab or replace seven culverts throughout various municipalities in Putnam and Westchester Counties including on Route 100 in Somers. Beginning on or about October 22, 2025, Route 100 will be closed from just south of Muscoot Farm to Moseman Road. Weather permitting, the work will continue through Friday, December 19, 2025.The construction of this project is currently on time.

FUTURE PROJECTS

CULVERT REPLACEMENT AND WALL REPLACEMENT/REPAIR

October 29, 2025 NYS DOT has started preliminary design phase of a project to rehabilitate or replace the culvert located under State Route 129 between Route 118 and Old Croton Lake Road in the Town of Yorktown. The work proposed in this project will ensure that this structure continues to safely carry the traveling public on the roadways over it, while adequately and safely passing storm flows. Additional work will include, but may not be limited to, appropriate stream relocation, wall replacement/repair, and appropriate rail treatments. At this time, it is anticipated that this project will be constructed in Spring/Summer 2027.

PMI PAVING: ROUTE 100 RESURFACING - ROUTE 120 TO CROW HILL ROAD

This project will correct existing pavement deficiencies on State Route 100 from State Route 120 to Crow Hill Road in the Towns of New Castle and Yorktown in Westchester County. The work will primarily consist of milling and filling the roadway and resurfacing with warm-mix asphalt to extend its service life and improve the quality and safety of the pavement. At this time, it is anticipated that this project to begin in Spring 2027.
