The Great Fall Clean-Up

It’s a dirty fact that litter degrades our roadsides. Keeping your neighborhood clean by picking up litter is not limited to Earth Day.
Join in on the effort to keep Yorktown clean & green by volunteering to pick up roadside litter on Saturday, November 22nd.

Call the Refuse & Recycling Department (914) 245-4438 to register where your group will be picking up roadside litter, and then come into the Refuse & Recycling Office (behind the Police Station) for supplies.

Please note that it is important to register so the R&R crews know where to collect the filled orange litter bags.
