Faraway Farm is home to award-winning huacaya alpacas, prized for their soft, colorful fleece. This beautiful property has been in the Blumberg family since 1951.
The farm store, located inside a renovated sheep barn, offers homegrown yarn, sweaters, shawls, hats, scarves, gloves; ultra-soft throws, hand-woven rugs, and the world’s softest stuffed animals. The store is open by appointment or online.
Schedule a visit to meet the alpacas and friendly Icelandic Horses. Learn about the animals' care, natural history and uses while enjoying the peaceful countryside. Farm tours are by appointment.

Hemlock Hill Farm understands how important it is to have access to local, organic, healthy food. Their goal is to educate, empower and provide fresh vegetables to the surrounding community. The farm has been a family farm since 1939.
Hemlock Hill Farm & Market believes it is important for people to know where their food comes from and what it takes to produce healthy, natural foods. Their beef, chicken, turkey, geese, duck, goat and lamb are all pasture raised, are animal hormone and antibiotic free.
Joining the farm's CSA is a popular way for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer.
Hilltop Hanover Farm

Hilltop Hanover Farm and Environmental Center is a working farm and environmental educational center located in Yorktown Heights, NY. Westchester County purchased the 187-acre former dairy farm in 2003. The farm will be used for agricultural preservation, drinking water protection, and the promotion of environmental stewardship through demonstration projects and sustainability programs.
Westchester County's Hilltop Hanover Farm is a regional education center that offers programs on healthy and sustainable food production. This involves researching and teaching skills for small-scale suburban and urban farming techniques, and illustrating sustainable living practices such as alternative energy sources for the residents of Westchester County. The Flowerhouse at Anther Farm

Located in Yorktown Heights, The Flowerhouse at Anther Farm was established in 2020. Here, a unique blend of flowers and plants are all grown through sustainable practices. Through the use of local resources and the avoidance of harmful chemicals the farm is able to protect its visitors and the ecosystem around it while still offering premium flowers, decorative botanicals, and extraordinary plants for both wholesale and to the public.

The Meadows Farm

The Meadows Farm is a family owned and operated farm. Sonny and Fran started farming in 1958. They had 4 acres of land and a little road side stand off Route 132. As time passed and the farm grew they realized people needed and wanted local and fresh produce and so they needed more space. That is when they rented The Meadows Farm Market in 1970 and eventually bought the farm market and moved it across Underhill Avenue to where they are located today. They grow their crops on 100 acres of land in upper Westchester and lower Putnam counties.
The Market is open from May 1st - October 31st each year. Only cash or check transactions at the farm market.
Thompson's Cider Mill

Located in the Town of Yorktown, Thompson’s Cider Mill Sweet Cider and new Hard Ciders are made in small batches from a wide range of apples, including many heirloom and unusual varieties. As many varieties of apples as possible are blended to create true, old-fashioned pure sweet and hard ciders. Several varieties of pears, as well as apple and pumpkin pies and muffins, and apple wine can also be found at the cider mill.
White Oak Farm

White Oak Farm was founded by Bri Hart in 1973. The existing farm, dating back to the 1800's, was overgrown and in disrepair. Forty years later the Farm features beautiful open fields, renovated barns, an impressive sugarhouse, garden, and sawmill. The farm is the last remaining maple syrup producer in Westchester County, tapping over 1400 trees and selling all maple grades.
The farm also operates a circular sawmill, dry kiln, state of the art finishing equipment for dressing boards, as well as a full woodworking shop. They sell all species of local hardwoods and softwoods, specialize in custom sawing and drying! Whether you have a truck-load of logs or one special tree that has come down on your property, they can saw, dry, finish and even make you a piece of furniture.

Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm

A fall and winter favorite, Wilkens sells a wide variety of apples and pumpkins and peaches – all of which you can pick yourself. In addition to these “Pick-Your-Own” items, Wilkens Farm has several acres of Choose-n-Cut Christmas Trees.
Also, while you’re there you might want to check out our three farm markets where they sell everything from their own pressed apple cider to freshly baked pies, famous apple cider donuts, and gift items.
The harvest season starts in August with peaches and beginning of September with apples. Pick-your-own pumpkins start in October, and Choose-n-Cut Christmas Trees just after Thanksgiving.
White Hill Vineyard at Wilkens Farm opened for tastings in October 2016 and is open on weekends from mid-August through mid-December, no reservations needed.
