YWD staff will be flushing fire hydrants today (between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, barring any emergencies) in the Croton Heights area.

Try to avoid doing laundry during the flushing period. Should you experience discolored water after hydrant flushing is complete, pleas run your cold water until clear.
