  • Yorktown's Library Begins Summer Reading Game

    The John C. Hart Memorial Library invites families to an afternoon of fun at the Summer Reading Kickoff. The event on Friday, June 26, runs from 2 to 4 p.m. and it includes a Bubble Bus, four magic shows by Myron the Magnificent, a photo booth, lawn games and more!

  • Quinlan St. Water Pressure Booster Station Issues 06/16/26

    A contractor, hired by the Yorktown Water District, has completed necessary repairs to the Quinlan St. Pressure Booster Station.  Unexpected complications had occurred & the work continued well past the expected time frame listed on the notice to affected residents.  YWD staff stayed onsite working with the contractor to complete the repair and restoring water pressure.
