Wonder Opens New Restaurant in Yorktown
Wonder celebrated its newest restaurant in Yorktown with a ribbon cutting on Thursday.
Located at 370 Underhill Ave. in the newly opened Underhill Farms residential community, Wonder operates on a food hall model that allows customers to order from 24 different menus to create mix-and-match meals. Wonder is the first business to open at Underhill Farms, a mixed-use development where residents began occupancy earlier this year.
“It’s great to see you at the finish line,” said Supervisor Ed Lachterman. “Your concept is something the people of this town will appreciate. One of the biggest arguments my wife and I have is: Where are we going for dinner tonight? She wants this. I want that. This restaurant conquers a lot of that.”
Wonder calls itself a mealtime platform that offers home delivery, in-store pick-up and on-location dining. The restaurant had its soft opening in Yorktown on July 6. Wonder is open from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m.
“You have done and great job, and I’m glad your crew is stepped up and ready to go. We wish you nothing but success, and thank you for investing in Yorktown,” said Councilman Patrick Murphy
Wonder’s Yorktown location is the chain’s latest outlet in Westchester County. Other nearby locations include Bedford, Larchmont, Scarsdale, and West Harrison.
“You are filling a void in Yorktown because the biggest question I get is: Where do you eat after 10 p.m.?” said Councilman Sergio Esposito, noting Wonder’s later hours. “If you get hungry and it’s a little later, you’ll always have this place to come to.”
Wonder is expanding rapidly. In February, the company announced that it reached 100 locations and has plans to expand beyond the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, with the goal of 200+ locations by the end of 2026.
