Yorktown Grange Fair begins Friday, Runs Through Weekend

WHAT: The 102nd Annual Yorktown Grange Fair, a three-day community tradition featuring agricultural exhibits, blue ribbon contests, live music, Midway rides, interactive family entertainment, local food, and craft beer.
WHEN:
- Friday, September 11: 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- Saturday, September 12: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. (Quiet Hour: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.; Tractor Parade at noon)
- Sunday, September 13: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Quiet Hour: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.)
WHERE: Yorktown Grange Fairgrounds, 99 Moseman Road, Yorktown Heights
MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES & EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
- Visuals & Parades: The Mile-Long Tractor Parade (Sat., 12:00 PM), hayrides, Midway rides, animal exhibits, and photo ops with Fair mascot Belle the Goat.
- Audience Participation Contests: Watermelon eating, rubber chicken throwing, pie eating, and bubble gum blowing competitions.
- Live Music: Headline performances by the Mike Risko Band (Fri., 7:00 PM), Whiskey’s Edge (Sat., 3:30 PM), Alex Nikki & Jokerz Wild (Sat., 8:00 PM), and No Options (Sun., 4:00 PM).
- Family & Children’s Entertainment: Interactive stunt shows by Wacky Chad, Kurt Gallagher’s Songs for Playful Children, and horse riding demonstrations.
