Yorktown Library Hosts Bestselling Author Kostya Kennedy

Shrub Oak, N.Y. — The John C. Hart Memorial Library welcomes bestselling author Kostya Kennedy on September 17 for an engaging conversation about The Ride: Paul Revere and the Night That Saved America.

The Ride is a fresh, fast-paced account that separates myth from history while bringing one of America's defining moments vividly to life. Kennedy reveals the remarkable network of riders, spies, and ordinary citizens whose actions helped ignite the American Revolution.

This free program is part of the library’s yearlong focus commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War. Attendees will gain new insight into the events of April 18–19, 1775, the people behind the legend, and the process of transforming meticulous historical research into an unforgettable story.
