Yorktown Police Launch New Bicycle Unit to Combat E-Bike Infractions

WHAT: The Yorktown Police Department will introduce its new Bicycle Unit and the officers who will staff it.  The new bike unit will patrol the town’s business district and community events. The unit will also address residents’ increasing complaints about e-bike and scooter owners who are speeding on sidewalks and on park trails.
