Senior Citizens with Limited Income Exemption
The Senior Tax Exemption (RP-467) is available to homeowners age 65 and over (must turn 65 prior to December 31, 2025).
Income Eligibility Requirements:
Town/County: a (combined) gross income of less than $58,400
Yorktown/Croton/Ossining School Districts: a (combined) gross income of less than $37,400
Lakeland School District: a (combined) gross income of less than $50,000
Owner Eligibility Requirements:
- The property must be the owners' primary residence
Documentation required for first time filers of the SR-467 include:
- Completed application RP-467 Application
- 2024 Federal Income Tax Return
- Proof of age (driver's license, birth certificate, passport)
- Proof of residency (driver's license or 2 utility bills showing the mailing and service address (landline phone, electric or cable).

Documentation required for renewing SR-467 include:
- Completed RP-467-Rnw Application
- 2024 Federal Income Tax Return.
- If you do not file Income Tax Returns, please provide the completed 467 Income Worksheet (link below) along with all 1099s (year end statements).
All exemption applications must be filed by taxable status date, May 1st.
