Beginning on January 4th, the Westchester County Bee Line Bus System will begin accepting OMNY for fare payments. This means that riders will be able to pay with their phones, credit/debit card, OMNY cards, and more.

The Old Crompond Bridge was finally reopened today replacing a 106-year-old structure. A severe storm in 2023 damaged the bridge, requiring its replacement.
Yorktown will reopen the Old Crompond Road Bridge on Friday, December 19th at 9 AM after the completion of a culvert replacement.

Beginning Wednesday, December 3, 2025 have your child write a letter to Santa Claus—North Pole and place it in the SANTA’S MAILBOX located at the front entrance to Town Hall. This program is sponsored by the Town Clerk’s Office & the Yorktown Museum.
If your child would like a response from one of Santa’s helpers, please deliver your letter no later than Friday, December 19th and don’t forget to include your return address in your letter!

REMINDER from the Yorktown Highway Department! OVERNIGHT PARKING RESTRICTIONS in the Town of Yorktown are now in effect. From November 20th to April 20th there is no parking on any public highway within the Town of Yorktown between 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
