The John C. Hart Memorial Library invites families to an afternoon of fun at the Summer Reading Kickoff.

The event on Friday, June 26, runs from 2 to 4 p.m. and it includes a Bubble Bus, four magic shows by Myron the Magnificent, a photo booth, lawn games and more! 

A contractor, hired by the Yorktown Water District, has completed necessary repairs to the Quinlan St. Pressure Booster Station. 

Unexpected complications had occurred & the work continued well past the expected time frame listed on the notice to affected residents. 

YWD staff stayed onsite working with the contractor to complete the repair and restoring water pressure.

Upon completion, fire hydrants were flushed to remove discoloration and/or air in the water.

Please flush your cold water line should you experience discolored or cloudy water.

The 4th Annual Rochambeau Festival is this weekend, Saturday June 6th and Sunday June 7th from 10:00AM to 5:00PM at Rochambeau Park.
