Housing Counseling

Aviva Lazarus is a Housing Counselor at Westchester Residential Opportunities, Inc., a HUD certified not for profit housing counseling agency. The Westchester County Planning Department has given them a grant to counsel seniors on how to age in place. Also, if any seniors are experiencing delinquency in their taxes, there are some solutions. If you are over 62 and would like to "age in place," Aviva can help you plan a budget, figure out if you can afford to pay past due taxes, and to stay in your home, and if not, counsel you on selling your home and applying for affordable housing.
