Fishing Derby

The annual fishing derby at Sparkle Lake will be held on Saturday, May 9^th, 2026 from 8:30AM-11:30AM. 

Participants must supply their own drop line/fishing pole and hooks. A limited selection of bait is available from the Recreation Department during the event. Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Award certificates will be given out for various categories such as "Largest", "Smallest",  "First Catch",  "Most Fish" and more. 

Registration is required and opens March 24^th, 2026 on Community Pass.

Residents: $5.00

Nonresidents: $10.00
