Yorktown Swim & Dive Team Information

Join the Yorktown Swim & Dive Team!  Register online by FILLING OUT THIS FORM. Early registration ends May 10th 2025.

5-6 week schedule beginning in late June. Evening practices for returning swimmers will be held 6/23-6/27 from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm.  The regular practice and morning hours for ALL Swimmers & Divers begins June 30th. New Swimmer Evaluations and coach's meeting with parents will be announced at a later date. All practice sessions are Monday thru Friday emphasizing quality stroke development and competitive diving instruction.

Regular Swim Practice Schedule:
Dive Team 7:00 am - 8:30 am
Swimmers Age 11+: 8:00 am - 9:30 am
Swimmers Ages 5-10: 9:30 am - 10:30 am

Eligibility: Yorktown residency is required. All registration forms must include a copy of the parent/guardian’s current Driver’s License AND a second form of proof of residency such as a copy of a current utility bill. Registrations will not be accepted without two proofs of residency. Children under 9 years old must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards without difficulty); Children 9 and over must swim two lengths of the pool (50 yards without difficulty). THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER’S SWIMMING PROGRAM. All new swimmers will be required to try out and will be accepted at the coach’s discretion. This will be verified at the first practice. SWIMMERS NOT MEETING THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE GIVEN FULL REFUNDS. OTHERWISE YORKTOWN RECREATION DEPARTMENT’S REFUND POLICY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE SWIM & DIVE TEAM.
