Adopt-a-Road

If your organization or business is interested in keeping litter off of Yorktown's roadsides year-round, you can Adopt-A-Road. In exchange for your group's effort (minimum two-year commitment), a sign with the name of your organization will be posted on your adopted roadside. To date 25 roadways have been adopted, yet we have so many more!

It's a dirty fact that litter degrades our roadsides. If you would like to pitch-in and pick-up litter in your neighborhood, litter bags, safety vests & litter grabbers are always available at the Refuse & Recycling Department (914) 245-4438.
