Car Tire Disposal

Car tires will not be picked up curbside with Bulk Trash collections. During pre-scheduled "Drop Off Days for E-Waste, Textiles & Car Tires" residents can bring car tires, without rims, to the Refuse and Recycling Department between 7:30 am and 2:30 pm. A $5.00 per tire fee must be paid in the office prior to disposal.

We encourage residents to dispose of their old tires in the shop where replacement tires are purchased.

Up to 4 tires per household can also be dropped off, at no cost, at Westchester County's Household Material Recovery Facility (H-MRF), 15 Woods Road in Valhalla. Call (914) 813-5425 for an appointment.
