Senior Services

The Town of Yorktown provides services for seniors at the Albert A. Capellini Community & Cultural Center.  Services include: a nutrition center, a senior room where senior clubs and activities are held, and home meals. There is a suggested contribution for these services.

Nutrition Program

Hot lunch is served Monday to Friday at 12 noon in the Senior Nutrition Center. Reservations are required at least one day in advance by 1 pm.

A hot meal is delivered to eligible homebound seniors Monday to Friday. Call the nutrition center for more information.

Senior Groups

There are several senior groups that meet in the Capellini Center. If you are interested in joining any of these groups, contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 914-245-4650.

Transportation

Yorktown Senior Services provides transportation for seniors weekdays to the nutrition program, to local supermarkets, and on special holiday shopping outings.

  • Sugar screening 2nd Wednesday of the month.
