Car Tire Disposal

Car tires will not be picked up curbside with Bulk Trash collections. During pre-scheduled "Drop Off Days for E-Waste, Paint, Textiles & Car Tires" residents can bring car tires to the Refuse and Recycling Department between 7:30 am and 2:30 pm. A $5.00 per tire fee must be paid in the office prior to disposal.

This event is held in the front parking lot of the Police Station.

We encourage residents to dispose of their old tires in the shop where replacement tires are purchased.

Up to 4 tires per household can also be dropped off, at no cost, at Westchester County's Household Material Recovery Facility (H-MRF), 15 Woods Road, Valhalla. Call (914)813-5425 for an appointment.
